Statement
When we moved to Lynden in 2005 we quickly came to appreciate the wholesome, family-friendly community spirit here, and I promise you I would work hard to preserve it.

I work with 4 other outstanding commissioners (also some who have left the board like Hank Roorda & Terry DeValois) to produce a 3 million dollar ballot proposal. To our delight you all approved it!

Now we are in the planning & engineering mode and next year there will be a lot of dirt moving and hopefully some ribbon cutting on parks and trails in and around Lynden!

Many thanks goes out to Vern Meenderinck and Mayor Korthuis and city council members along with the city parks board members for working with our board on these mutually beneficial projects for the betterment of the recreation of our citizens in the greater Lynden Area! I hope to have opportunity to use my talents and experience for Lynden for 4 more years.
