In Ferndale; Kate Bishop to Run in the Primary for City Council  Position 6

Kate Bishop: Running for Ferndale City Council Position 6

It has been a difficult couple of years. The pandemic, the rising cost of housing, and the brutal rhetoric that has divided us, have all taken their toll. Times have been tough, but I know the people of Ferndale are tougher

My name is Kate Bishop (formerly Hansen)—I’m a social services professional working mom, and for the last four years, your voice on the Council.  It has been an honor to serve, to dig in and work for you.

We cannot leave behind the people who call Ferndale home as our town recovers and grows—we need real solutions for affordable housing now.  Ground has broken on the Thornton Overpass and I’ll keep pushing to improve our roads and sidewalks.  Our businesses need support, resources, and the infrastructure of a modern city.  Finally, we must fight for justice to ensure all voices are heard in the halls of power.

The next four years are going to be crucial. Ferndale faces big challenges, but together we can make a real difference.  That is why I’m asking for your vote.  My name is Kate Bishop and I’m running for reelection because I will never stop fighting for you!
