Our writer/contributor John Lesow added this; we think its relevant information.

To the Editor at the Fourth Corner:
Alan Rhodes, Cascadia Weekly’s self-appointed “Mr. Cranky” doesn’t like County Council candidate Kamal Bhachu. He dismisses Bhachu as, “A Trump supporter, anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist”.
None of this is actually true. But this is the usual method used to describe any conservative by a local columnist too lazy to do any real research. Research that would include–God forbid–actually interviewing the candidate.
In fact, Kamal Bhachu is a breath of fresh air. Young, well-qualified and one who would add that “Diversity” to the County Council that liberals are always croaking about.
True to form, Rhodes’ reaction is to smear the guy.   Coward. Try running for public office yourself, Mr. Cranky.
There are way too many old, dull, white liberals littering local politics.
Just as there are too many old, dull, white local columnists that have lost any semblance of talent or professionalism in their dotage.
