Hi Charlie: Thanks for your call. Following our conversation, here’s a list of the books I have written and published.
The Attrition Colonies* This is a fictional book I wrote about the government’s invasion of our privacy rights. I wrote this before the 911 attack, and since the Covid19 pandemic, this book has taken on us versus them life as we have lived with this.
Kriegsmarine* This is historical fiction of two best friends growing up in the fictional town of Hartzstein, PA. Both boys, Karl and Gerhardt, are of German descent, and the outbreak of World War II puts their lives on different paths. Gerhardt graduates from the US Naval Academy and becomes a Navy Captain of a Destroyer. Karl is convinced by his Grandfather to go back to Germany and take over his manufacturing, and the Nazi government designates the factory will begin building U-Boats. Karl is forced to become a Captain of a Uboat in the German Navy (Kriegsmarine) which puts him in a position where he and his best friend will ultimately be forced into a deadly battle.
The Bergman Justice* This book is a sequel to Kriegsmarine.
The Adventures of the Alphabet This is a children’s book I wrote under the pen name Grandpa Ralph. It was published by Village Books and I have copies of it here at home people can buy. The price is $12.95, and the target age is the 3-7-year-old child.
A Beacon of Community Development I wrote this book while serving as President of the Cordata Neighborhood Association. It also is published by Village Books. It is the history of the Cordata Neighborhood Association, told by its founder Julianna Royal Guy and her fight for parks in the Cordata neighborhood. We now have two parks, and one is named Julianna Park after her. I donated all the proceeds to the Association. It is 14.00 per copy.
Beneath the Law, This is my latest book that I am going to advertise in the Fourth Corner newsletter.
The Bergman-Schuour Destiny This book will be the next one to be released. It is being published by Dorrance Publishing Company in Pittsburgh, PA. What I have done in this book is to take the families from Kriegsmarine and The Bergman Justice and write their history from the 1700s until after the second world war. I have done years of research and used actual historical events that happened to the European Jews that were kicked out of one country after another, and blended those with the aristocratic German family and how their lives become intertwined by history. I call this book “my epic novel,” as it is 646 pages long, and I think the best book I have written so far.
You will note I have placed an asterisk after the titles of The Attrition Colonies, Kriegsmarine, and The Bergman Justice. That is because those books are out of print and I am negotiating with Village Books to use some of the ISBN numbers I own and are on file with them. Through Village Books, I will send the manuscripts for printing directly to Ingram/Sparks, the printing company most publishers use. Once I make those arrangements, the books will be available through me, Village Books, Amazon.com, and Barnes and Noble.com.
Sorry for the lengthy email. Thanks, Ralph L Myers
