Washington DC Progressives give $200,000 to Washington Conservation Voters. 1.2 Million Dollars  may hit local races to kill jobs at Cherry Point

Sep 22nd  2014

New this afternoon at about 1:30 PM Sep 22nd 2014

a Public Disclosure Commission Report showed a $1,000,000 Donation from Tom Steyer to his NEXT GEN PAC here in Washington state.  Expectations are that it will be used to buy the Senate right here in Whatcom County.

Sources have told the Fourth Corner that Governor Inslee told  Governor Brown of California that only two Senate Seats stood between him and his local job killing Carbon tax program.

More to come on the Fourth Corner.  You decide is this good for the 42nd Legislative District?

The League of Conservation Voters based in Washington DC also donated $200,000 to Washington Conservation Voters on the same day that Tom Steyer came back to Washington State.

  •  An old saying is “follow the money” and find out where the action is.  Except for some questions on whether “NextGen” still exists or not all of the activity seems to have been reported and is tracked back to a man: “Tom Steyer” who has received national media attention for his pledge of  One Hundred Million Dollars into National Senate Races against Republicans.
  • If you did not know who Tom Steyer was you should get to know him and his interests as they certainly had an effect on how we will be governed over the next four years.

Tom Steyer the national figure who brought his campaign money to Whatcom County in 2013 and made it one of the most expensive Council races ever.

The following stories will have repetitive information in some cases but I wanted to be certain the links work for you.

Tom Steyer- A good story from the Wall Street Journal

Tom Steyer- A good Story from the New York Times

Tom Steyer- A good Story from the Seattle Times

In Summary the irony of this story is of a former coal and oil investor divesting of those investments in the United States and gaining enormous profits and now investing in Coal in Indonesia and Australia and becoming known as a “Coal King” there

He obviously took great pains to block American Coal Exports  in Whatcom County and his investment in the 2013 election has certainly slowed if not destroyed the opportunity for the creation of family wage jobs right here in the Fourth Corner.

There can be no doubt Tom Steyer has used the left and the Extreme Greens to help him control markets and further his profit margins. That too is very ironic to say the least.

It is still unknown which Legislative District Senate Candidate Seth Fleetwood resides in.

The residence that Seth Fleetwood now is registered to vote at… happens to be a home up for sale for 1.5 Million Dollars… owned by a Democratic donor who gave $100,000 to Democratic Candidates and causes last year alone!!  Does this seem odd to anyone? Let me know by return e-mail.

There have been concerns about Senate Candidate Seth Fleetwood’s frequent  changes in his voting address in the last five months. See below for some of the facts.  It will be important to ferret out these issues as the campaign progresses.

Seth Fleetwood Senate Candidate in the 42nd District. A list of his voting registration addresses since December 2013.

  • Fact: According to Whatcom County Auditor Records at the time, he moved his Voting Registration Address from Palm St in South Bellingham to 17th Street located in the 40th District on Dec. 4th 2013
  • Fact: According to Whatcom County Auditor Records at the time, he moved his voting Registration Address from 17th St in South Bellingham to 6999 Helweg Lane in the Blaine area in the 42nd District on April 29, 2014— The day he announced his run for the Senate in the 42nd Legislative District.  There is no evidence that he ever lived there.
  • Fact: According to Whatcom County Auditor Records at the time, he moved his Registration Address from 6999 Helweg Lane in the Blaine area to a home for sale for 1.5 million dollars at 1504 Irving Lane in the Fort Bellingham area of Whatcom County. He did this Registration Address Change on May 15th 2014 the day he filed for office; both the Blaine and North Bellingham addresses are in the 42nd Legislative District. There has been no evidence he has moved there.
  • Fact: A Diane Lookman is also registered to vote at the 1504 Irving Lane Address and one Michael Lookman is the owner of record at the home according to the Whatcom County Assessor Records but is not registered to vote there.

Is Seth Fleetwood just confused about where he wants to register to vote (generally people move to a place AND THEN change their registration)? Did he ever live at the Blaine Address?

Does anyone care that his registration process in the 42nd looks contrived and only politically motivated?

Write me back an e-mail if you have an opinion either way.

Current Government Environmental dogma:

  • The Earth is warming
  • Increase in Carbon Dioxide is the only cause that matters.
  • Carbon Dioxide increase is caused by human activity.

Conclusion of the dogma:

  1. Warming is happening, warming will continue to happen, warming will increase (INTO THE FUTURE) based on Human Behavior only.
  2. Human policy in Washington State will be predicated on this conclusion and we must comply with all policies to save the earth from Carbon and only Carbon “overheating” IN THE FUTURE.
  3. Washington State MUST lead in Carbon Only reduction by spending its tax dollars, potential jobs and give up its inexpensive power to get this done.

Let your legislators know you want common sense legislation and common sense energy costs AND a real definition for “Green Energy”.
