Danny Martinez for Lynden School Board Position 2
I’m Danny Martinez, and I’m running for director position 2 on the Lynden school board.
I’m a proud K-12 graduate of the Lynden School District. I’m a lifelong resident, husband, and father of three.
Key strengths that I bring are:
- Experienced representation as a Local Leader, Lifelong Resident, Lynden Graduate with a B.A. in Psychology and human services & M.A. in Apologetics.
- I bring honesty, integrity, and commitment to the kids and this community. As a Youth/Associate Pastor, I bring over a decade of experience working with adolescents. I’m actively involved in their lives, partnering with parents to address their unique needs.
- I bring Common Sense Leadership.
- Keeping our kids safe from harmful curriculum is my top priority. I’m committed to ensuring our curriculum aligns with conservative values and prepares students for the future.
- I want to make sure that parents have a voice. I want to make sure that parents are informed and educated about what’s going on in our schools.
- I care about safety. We have to address this in a multifaceted way. Not only with buildings but also addressing the mental health of our kids.
As a Christian, I firmly believe that our educational system needs the guidance of upstanding and moral citizens to oversee what our students are taught. This conviction drives my decision to run for school board. It’s my firm belief that our community still values these principles. I humbly ask for your trust and vote; thank you.
